ninjas among us
rite, recently work sucks, and tho i can't exactly say i have no life, i do get VERY LITTLE SLEEP.
but todae, despite the horribly stressful work situation, i shall focus instead on the brighter aspects of my life - like how i scored nearly full marks on my recent jap test despite the last-min study (thank you kat-tun, doumoto brothers & johnny's ent in general :p), tat i got to watch more of the brilliant matsuyama ken'ichi in L: change the world (he has L down COMPLETELY, and can totally emote intensely with like NO expression); and today, i watched one of the fun-nest shows ever - the dash!, featuring tokio, an old j-pop band i've known since my jc days :)

the basic premise of the show is tat the 5 members of tokio have to go all over kyoto to kick over a can at certain designated spots, one for each member, and to hinder them from this, is a hundred members of the public/volunteers for the tv show, who are like 'cops'. it's kinda like amazing race, but in japanese, with the tokio members being stealthy and ninja-like and using walkie-talkies and proximity detectors, and i'm a geek-gal at heart, and i totally adore it!
the best thing of all is tat it's set in kyoto last october! so they probably filmed it like a week or 2 after i visited the place - it's pretty amazing cuz i recognise half the locations tat they went to cuz I WAS THERE. MWAHAHAHA!!!! aah, the beautiful memories of the place... i shall show this to my grandma, so she can see in technicolour all these places i've visited, cuz the OTHER best thing bt this show is tat one needs no subtitles or remote understanding of jap to understand it - the actions says it all.
