i got you!
more like he's got me :p have jus finished watching another tw drama series starring bryan ho aka 鄭元暢 - 'Nine Ball'/撞球小子. it seems like he plans to specialise in the angst-ridden, bad-boy type of charac who's 敢愛敢恨, 心思纖細﹐ 容易被誤會卻死都不解釋 and ultimately 浪子回頭 to sacrifice all for those that he loves. TOTALLY my type of character :p
his acting skills still have a way to go, but he tends to infuse his characters with a passion that's very convincing - at least, for me. but then, i'm admittedly biased. because of him, i've sat thru 2 tw soap-operas (they may be populated with young actors in hip clothes, but they're still soap-operas), something i always gripe that my grandma does. is this a last-ditch attempt to grasp at the romantic ideals that have been gradually taken over by cynicism as i inexorably head towards the 1st quarter century of my life? sigh!
i've also succumbed AGAIN to the power of the tv soundtrack. by virtue of hearing the songs so many times, they've impregnated themselves into my synapses, making me believe i actually quite like listening to them. does 耳濡目染 apply in this case?
