we are all here because we have a purpose

this journal is jus gonna be a convenient place for me to put up my fics that i've accumulated over the years. previously, i've been too lazy and (still am) incompetent to create a proper website, and here i am again, taking the easy way out :p back when i first started entering various fandoms, i used to think that i'd eventually grow out of it - the fic'ing, the trawling of the 'net for stories in all shapes and forms, and above all, slash, slash and more slash. i thot i'd grow up, drift away, and jus get on with life.

it's been seven years, and it could be another seven, twenty-one, forty-nine, and i think i'd still be puttering around, going, 'god, is that slashy or what?!' the mediums and the fandoms have changed, but the one underlying tenet - 'those 2 guys are SO in love with one another' - has not ^_~ it's a bloody addiction, but one i'm sure not gonna kick.

and cuz i've been wallowing around for so long, it's a logical next step for me to be writing and contributing my own meagre attempts as well. getting this blog is also partly a chance for me to look over what i've written before - i have a bad tendency to write, post and forget all about whatever i've written.

or it could also be another way for me to expand my already-inflated ego :p
