once again, i have succumbed to the impulse-buy, which i am increasingly resigned is an irrevocable part of my intrinsic nature. thus, rite now, i'm typing this entry on my precious, new benq joybook 5000 of the silver-and-lightblue finish, of which i'm esp worshipful ^_~

isn't it ironic that after asking a million and one ppl their opinion and vacillating for a hundred and one days, i end up getting a brand that is entirely something else? guess it jus proves that deep down, i dun really respect other ppl's ideas that much, huh?

my bro prob understands this more that i thot: his sole rxn was - it's ur notebook, as long as u're fine with it, i'm fine with it. heh, never knew he could achieve that kinda insight :p

woke up today with a stuffed nose and fading voice, and thus ended up at the staff clinic at the hospital, bringing a 4 mth no mc streak to a sad congested end. met up with 2 other colleagues from the dept, all with similar symptonms - there's an evil bug floating around.
