it's all powder to me
Dec. 22nd, 2004 11:00 pmhave finally gotten off my lazy ass and begun the clearing process. cleaned out my bedroom in jb, tossing laundrybag-loads of manga, j-rock mags and assorted related items. have also dumped - sorry, donated - shoes, clothes and books to the salvation army christmas collection drive.
blithely agreed to help my landlady buy flour for her baking since i was going to the supermarket aniwae, and like when the stupid guy comes up to the aisle in the movies, i reached the baking needs section and realised to my horror that there are AT LEAST FIVE FUCKING DIFFERENT KINDS OF FLOUR on display :p it was NOT funny at the time.
following up on mine random current trend - alternative families: have jus watched hush!, after it has spent a good five months resting on my desk. thanks to coldcrab for lending me the dvd. have become partial to tanabe seiichi - seen him numerous times in all those j-doramas i watch, but never realised that was the same guy on the cover of the hush! dvd :p quite liked it, and all the actors' performances. coming on the heels of a home at the end of the world, it was rather interesting to see how 2 different cultures have spun the same concept.
(btw, if u're reading this, coldcrab, could u tell me where i could get a copy like yours? will return dvd to u when i see u :)
