a little piece of sky
May. 17th, 2006 12:24 amas of now, my long long glorious leave is over... in like less than 8 hours, i have to be back at the hospital working again. but it was a GOOD weekend - it was a foodie weekend! i never realised there were so many cool eating places in jb... in an effort to budge my family from the ONE restaurant where we go out for family dinner for years and years and YEARS, we went to a new place rec'd by my bro for mother's day - huge success! lolz! jb food places, here i come! ;)
apart from tat, it was a relaxing weekend, watched a couple of movies: ( aah... to be a couch potato... )
and there was also shadow hearts: covenant, potentially the 2nd ps2 game i will ever play to completion. lolz! ( bite me. )
then i came back todae and lazed around watching an entire jap drama :p this show called 野ブタ。をプロデュース. it's one of those shows tat i thot i would like the moment i saw the intro, and the 2 bishounen really din't have TAT much to do with it, REALly ;) jap dramas are nice, they manage to pack in the best and worst of human life, the 欢喜辛酸 into a nice 10/11 episodes, and it's always subtle and unsaid, even when the lead is pouring his heart out in front of everyone; and always inexplicably touching and uplifting. huh, or maybe tat's jus me.
when i think of this show, i'll always think of the final scene in the final episode, where shuji and akira are standing by the seaside, and shuji says, "我们无论在什么地方，都能生存下去吧..." frens and faith, always touching and uplifting. and i hope it's not jus for me.
