spoofing gackt

am indulging in japanese dramas again - nowadays, it seems, tho i guess it really is too soon to tell - new jap dramas are seeing the singaporean light of day again ^_^ not that they're really intelligent or anything - but i remember reading somewhere that the reason why so many of them are appealing are cuz above all, they exalt the human spirit, making even the smallest thing seem heroic and touching. this recent one i'm watching, muko dono 2003 is actually quite run-of-the-mill, except for these occasional bits where nagase tomoyo puts on his idol personality for the tv talk shows, and i swear, it's a dead spoof of gackt, down to the cryptic/silly answers and grandiose hand gestures :p
things are not as good in the real life tho. i more or less can admit that i'm a lazy ass who lacks ambition, and the majority of my achievements have been stumbled upon, so this latest HUGE project that has ended up in my lap is being greeted by me with more trepidation than excitement. everyone keeps saying, "wow, that's great! congrats!", and i wanna tell them, "that's not the bloody point! i haven't the least fuck what i'm doing!" damn, this whole situation is turning me into a paranoid worrier >_
