one of my very best frens i made in perth went home todae. i met her from the very day i touched down in perth, we even took the same bus to the uni. we stayed in the same housing village. i met her again at uni the next day, and the rest is history.
i can never really pinpoint when exactly i start becoming really good frens with someone. it happens so gradually, and yet it can be so sudden, and b4 u noe it, u're already tight. and when i try to think back, when or wat was it that made us really close?... i can't remember. it might have been one little thing, or it could have been everything. everything in fate was pushing us to meet, to come together, to share a beautiful, magical time.
it's truly incredible how ppl, each of us on our own path and destiny and future, can cross and intertwine. how could i have lived these 24 years without knowing this gang of ppl that i got to noe in perth? it's not as if my life wasn't full b4 - i had my good frens there as well, had a good network of support, to ventilate and to share. and yet, that felt like a totally different life. different world, different time, different circumstances.
it's as if each moment that came b4 was all in preparation for this year, for meeting these ppl, for living and EXPERIENCING this time. and it's quite amazing to imagine that this year of mine could possibly, jus possibly be the groundwork for another brilliant adventure in the future.
